My Students
We have a sweet inclusive preschool classroom that incorporates both typical peers and students with special needs. My students are aged 3-5 years which is prime time for brain growth and knowledge absorption! We work hard to make sure we meet each and every child's individual needs while also boosting their unique strengths. All of my students are very curious and love to learn!
We love hands-on and engaging projects that open minds to new experiences and set the stage for life-long learning.
I love to watch my excited preschoolers enter the classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore. It makes my heart happy to know they've spent the day expanding their minds and I am so lucky to be able to be a small part of their ever-growing world.
My Project
These materials will help my sensory seeking students access whatever sensory input they need at any given time. I've included tactile, auditory and visual sensory items to assist with all types of sensory integration in our classroom.
Sensory play helps build nerve connections in the brain!
It also helps foster developing motor skills and encourages scientific thinking and problem solving. Fulfilling sensory inputs helps students stay focused and engaged; engaged students are learning students! These materials will help all of my preschoolers as they learn to explore and process the world around them.
