Sensory Tools for Preschool Students

My Project

Our inclusive classroom is so special and we want to nurture our friendship. This is an inclusion preschool class with students with Special Needs.

Our students need sensory breaks throughout the day.

The items I choose for my project will help students to advance their social skills and overall well-being. For example, weighted blankets will help them calm their bodies.

Sensory tools help our preschoolers to self-regulate and stay calm. Board games will help our preschoolers to learn turn-taking skills. These board games will support our students in learning how to play cooperatively.

In addition, the Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift card helps me provide resources for social narratives, prewriting stroke practices, and different shapes for cutting for my students. Teachers make these materials and I can use these resources efficiently to help support students learning.
