Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Sensory tools unlock the door to learning for students who thrive through touch, movement, and play.
The sensory stones, emotion coin drop, and pop and link beads help students regulate their emotions, improve focus, and develop fine motor skills in a calming, hands on way.
The fidget tubes and matching hedgehog activities build self awareness and social emotional growth through exploration. My goal is to create a classroom where every learner feels safe, see and supported. My students are special because they are beautifully diverse in how they learn, express themselves, and connect with the world.
