Sensory Tent for Calming Space

Help me give my students a sensory place to meet the needs of autistic students to calm and relax throughout the school day.

My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting for my students will give them a safe space to calm down and decompress. Some of our students have sensory needs. I want to create a safe space in the classroom for students with autism and sensory needs. The tent is portable and can be used in any classroom. The weighted blanket and weighted stuffed animal will provide students with a pressure that is calming. The sensory toys will help children with autism relax, focus, and calm down about a scenario or event.
