My pre-kindergarten, varying exceptionality students are a kind and energetic bunch of children. I teach in a Title I school. Most of our children are from single-parent homes. We are a neighborhood school, and I am very proud to teach at our school. The students in my classroom each come with their own way of learning. It is my hope to reach each student and create a love of learning within them. Each of my students deserves the best tools to help them learn.
My Project
Pre-K students are all about experiences. All these wonderful items will ignite their senses. Each item was carefully chosen to go into the sensory table that we have in our classroom. The pinecones will be a wonderful addition around Thanksgiving time and fall when we will scoop and sort and just have fun. The water beads are always a great hit! The giant beads are like colorful bouncing balls. The students are mesmerized watching them grow from little beads to the giant water balls. The table is always a favorite!
