I have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of 18 eager learners!
My students are discovering “the big school” for the first time this year and I strive to give them a solid academic and social emotional foundation for learning!
This will be my first year teaching dk (developmental kindergarten) and I could not be more excited! However, funding is limited and I could really use your help! Our school is a title one school and we are also pilotin a lot of social emotional trainings to help students become resilient learners. Our kids come to school to have fun, learn, and be loved! The kids and I appreciate you!
My Project
The students will benefit from this sensory table by using it daily during their learning centers! My class bridges the gap between preschool and kindergarten, and I know that the sensory table has endless amounts of uses for our class to create, explore, and learn! This table’s use will change and evolve throughout the year and years to come. The kids will practice their social skills while working together in imaginative play. They will be developing and fine tuning their fine motor skills and learning through play! This sensory table and the accessories will help me create a welcoming place to learn and keep things new and exciting each time I change themes I will change the use of this station in our classroom! The kids will absolutely love it!
