Sensory Swing for Young, Autistic Learners!

My Project

We recently opened a new classroom for students with Autism at our school (due to overcrowding in our other classrooms). This class is for our youngest learners, all of whom are just figuring out how school works!

These students require sensory input throughout their entire school day.

They love the trampoline, our bean bag chairs, and handheld fidgets. They take turns with other classes in our sensory room, but sometimes.... they just can't wait!

A sensory swing in the classroom would allow them to stay in their learning environment, to have access to instruction and sensory input at the same time. This would mean the world to them!
