Sensory Supports for Better Learning

My Project

My students are very eager to explore toys that work with science, building/constructing, and magnets. They also have challenging needs that impact their daily focus and attention to instruction and learning. These new sensory resources for the classroom will help address students' special needs, while also providing opportunities to engage with STEM-like toys to nurture their love for science and movement.

Keeping their hands busy with fidget toys, or having to build and construct objects will help develop fine motor skills, focus and attention to details.

These skills are necessary for learning in school, so the more support students have to address their sensory needs in the classroom, the better their attention will be for learning new things.
