My Project

Sensory play is immensely beneficial for students as it engages multiple senses simultaneously, fostering holistic development. Within the needs of sensory play it helps students foster cognitive development, fine motor skills, language development, social skills, emotional regulation, creativity and imagination, and most importantly sensory integration.

Sensory play is a rich learning experience that supports various aspects of a child's development.

It promotes active exploration, curiosity, and joy in learning, making it an invaluable tool in educational settings.

Within the use of these sensory tools it can help benefit my students by creating more sensory play opportunities. Also, by having the use of the chair glides within my classroom it can help my students stay regulated throughout our daily transitions for those who are sensitive to loud noises.
