My Project
The children in my classroom can benefit from sensory support throughout the day! Sensory needs occur when a child has difficulty receiving and responding to information from their senses.
In order to allow my students to feel comfortable and safe this upcoming school year...
I would love to provide the following items so they can grow both socially and academically!
The liquid floor tiles will be our pathway into our "Cozy Corner" which is wear the majority of the resources I am asking for will be. The calming cuddle ball, sensory paint and sensory paper, and weighted lap pad will be placed in here for the children to use in times of distress. The wiggle feet sensory cushion will be a tool the children can use if they're feeling restless while attending to the lesson. The Artic sensory bin will be pleased in our sensory trays for students to explore and work on their fine motor skills. In addition, each child will receive a calming strip to put on their desk so they can rub the textured strip at any point during the day without having to ask.
I can assure you that these items will be used daily in our classroom!
