Sensory Support & Ocean Adventures for Every Learner

Help me give my students sensory and imaginative play tools to help neurodiverse students regulate their emotions, stay focused, and engage in meaningful learning experiences.

My Project

In our special education classroom, students thrive when their sensory needs are met and learning is playful and meaningful. This project brings together sensory tools and imaginative play items—like liquid floor tiles, fidget balls, and spinning seats—to help students regulate their emotions and engage more deeply with their environment.

With your support, we’ll transform a corner of our classroom into a sensory haven and ocean explorer’s zone, where students can feel calm, safe, and ready to learn.

My Students:

Our students are bright, creative, and wonderfully unique. Many have autism, ADHD, or sensory processing differences and benefit greatly from environments that support movement, regulation, and hands-on interaction. These students often struggle with transitions, focus, and emotional control in traditional settings.

Our classroom is a place where they can explore, grow, and learn in ways that honor their needs—and these materials will make that possible every single day.

Why This Project Matters:

Each item in this project was carefully chosen to meet a specific sensory or developmental need:

The Impact:

This project will create a calming, creative, and sensory-friendly space where students can regulate their bodies, feel safe, and engage with learning. These tools will support emotional regulation, build social skills, and offer inclusive learning experiences for all our students.

With your help, we’ll build a classroom where every child—no matter how they learn—feels valued, supported, and ready to succeed.
