Sensory Stimulation and Regulation

Help me give my students a soothing and calming environment where they can regulate their senses and manage sensory overload. Sensory stimuli like calming lights, textures, sounds, and movement support regulating these senses.

My Project

When students are provided with an environment that is controlled and engaging, they are able to improve their focus and attention, particularly for some students with ADHD or other learning challenges.

A sensory room contributes to cognitive development by stimulating different areas of the brain and fostering skills like fine motor skills, problem-solving, and communication.

Sensory rooms are inclusive spaces where students can engage with peers and educators in a comfortable and supportive environment. This allows students to develop and support social connections, which encourages students to participate in the learning. We need some sensory bins, sensory games, and other visual and tactile items to stock the sensory room.
