My Project

My students experiences lapses of time in both instructional and social experiences during COVID-19. Students with disabilities, especially that fall under the category of Autism Spectrum Disorder, benefit from being both physically calmed and stimulated in correspondance to their learning. The gap in their progress was widened due to COVID-19 disruptions to their learning. Sensory input in order to keep them engaged, motivated, and focused is essential to their progress . These sensory supplies will help support their access to education content by providing an outlet for their sensory needs.
