Sensory Station for Special Education

My Project

This project will reach a diverse group of special education students. The sensory tools will be accessible to grades 4-8 and will be stored in the resource room at my school.

The students who will benefit have exceptional needs and exceptional opportunities for growth when given the tools they need for success.

There are never enough fidgets in the general education classroom. The sensory tools will be provided during a short break from class that will be scheduled between myself and the general education teachers.

My main goal for this project is to meet our students where they are and help them understand the benefit of meeting sensory needs first.
