This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for the help with hammock chairs along with a futon. I believe that the hammock chairs will help ease the anxiousness of many of our students who have been diagnosed with ADHD, it will help ease their overstimulation and help calm them down so that they are able to focus at a higher level.

Along with the hammock chairs I would also like to incorporate a futon into my classroom to give my students a place where they can go and have a comfortable space to read a book, work on group work, or simply just have a relaxing space that they can go and enjoy some time for themselves.

I appreciate any help I can get in this project and I know my students would love to have all of this in our classroom.
