My Project
Our classroom seeks support calming down our youngest scholars through exciting activities and high-energy play. We use a variety of strategies for our students with varying abilities and sensory needs. However, no tool is helpful for all students at any given time.
These tents will work as ground-level support for anyone needing sensory regulation.
When teachers are outnumbered 3 to 1, it is not always easy to comfort and coddle all the students simultaneously. Sometimes after recess, a connection class like art or music, or upon arriving after a long break, our students need extra comfort to get ready to learn again. Some students may benefit from practicing their emergent skills from the tent. We would all like to expand our self-management skills with these tools. Thank you In advance for your support.
