Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am writing to ask for your support in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for our students at our school. We are seeking donations to help equip it with essential sensory tools.
Sensory tools play a vital role in helping students regulate their emotions, stay focused, and fully engage in learning.
Items such as fidget toys, weighted blankets, noise-canceling headphones, sensory swings, tactile bins, and visual timers can make a meaningful difference in a child's ability to succeed in the classroom. These tools help reduce anxiety, improve self-regulation, and promote independence, especially for students with autism, ADHD, and other sensory challenges.
As we build this classroom from the ground up, we are relying on the generosity of our community to help fund these resources. Your donation — whether monetary or in the form of specific sensory items — would have a direct and lasting impact on the well-being and success of our students.
