My Project

The students in my classroom have a lot of sensory needs. This project will help fulfill some of these needs.

We need to have some sensory bins available.

These bins can be used as reinforcement, student choice as free time or just to regulate their sensory needs.

These sensory bins can fulfil sensory needs while still teaching! These bins can be used to teach seasons, as I've added a fall and a winter sensory bin. For math or literacy, the sand or even water beads can fill up some of the bin and I can place numbers or letters in there for them to find as well. Sneaky learning happening here!

The different tactile surfaces can go in our sensory corner! This will be good for our students who walk and can roam to explore those standing up!
