My Project

One of the goals in our classroom is to help our children learn how to be in a classroom safely and practice the skills they need to focus and learn. Many of our students have sensory issues and are learning what sensory input they need in order to focus and engage in activities. Being able to provide a variety of sensory options helps them learn what they need.

Weighted lap pads, ear muffs, and toys that provide sensory input like weighted animals or squeeze balls will help our students stay with their peers at circle time or when working in small groups at a table.
