This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials I am requesting will allow my students to have access to a sensory safe classroom. Lamps will be used to provide a calm atmosphere without harsh overhead lighting. We use white boards often as a dynamic visual to give students quick access to learning concepts. Being able to post these on the walls of the room will provide easy access to visual supports. They are learning to use self-regulation strategies and fidgets to get ready for learning throughout the day. The science materials will be used for projects for collaborative projects that have been motivating throughout the year.
