My Project
As a special education teacher, I am always trying to find new ways to provide sensory input for my students that support them in our classroom environment.
This project will provide my students with the tools they need to meet their sensory needs.
They can use fidgets and sand for sensory input. The floor tiles will create a fun, gross motor way to self regulate. They can use the tent when they are overstimulated. The lights are to make the classroom environment dimmer and not overstimulated. The noise canceling headphones can help the students self regulate when it is too loud or the noise is over stimulating.
