Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The future belongs to our children. It is inevitable that they will rise up and lead, now is the chance to help them gain momentum as they discover the world around them.

My students are artists, change makers, and innovators!

Where adults see problems my students can find solutions. They recently created heat packs to donate to a local animal shelter.

My Project

The wide variety of sensory stimulating activities will be for students to utilize at their homes. These materials will allow children to engage in authentic art and learn how to properly hold a pencil. Children will squeeze and pull, color and shade, sift and shake a variety of materials.

Sensory activities facilitate exploration and naturally encourage children to use scientific processes while they play, create, investigate, and explore!

Sensory play is beneficial for children because it helps to build nerve connections in the brain and encourages the development of motor skills.
