Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students I work with have sensory needs. In order to meet these needs, I want to provide many different options of sensory items for them to use throughout the day and keep them emotionally regulated.
These students are so wonderful and amazing and deserve to have a safe space to play and engage with sensory materials.
The crash pad will help students who need the sensory exposure for their body. The ball pit will help students who need to feel safe and enveloped in a smaller area. The swing will assist students to regulate their emotional and physical needs.
