Sensory Room Light and Textile Supports!

Help me give my students give options for the sensory room where they can use sensory tools for t4extural and optical regulation activities.

My Project

Our sensory room has been moved three times and finally has a permanent location within the building. We have been struggling to find the funding for true sensory supports in a room that supports not only the 80+ special education students in the building but the rest of the school as well.

Our sensory room has fidgets, but it is missing ways to help students regulate their emotions using optical and tactile sensory supports.

This donation would be put in to create a corner of the room that is for students to de-escalate and do various emotional regulation activities to help get back to their baseline.

At a high needs title one school, we have made due the best we can with creating a supportive environment for all students. However, we are getting an increase in students and we need supports that can meet the many needs we have at this school.
