The items purchased with your donations met our goals. The first goal achieved was for hygiene kits. Each fifth-grade student was supplied with hygiene kits after the discussion about puberty, the changes in their bodies and the need for cleanliness and good hygiene. I am hopeful that these items will at least give them a start at good practices for self-care. \r\n\r\nI was also able to achieve the second goal and now have a small stock of hygiene products that can be given to our students who need basic items, like shampoo, hairbrush, or toothbrush, that I can give out as needed. \r\n\r\nThese kids did not ask for the situations they are in; however, I feel that these common, everyday items that we sometimes take for granted can make a small, but meaningful difference, especially knowing that people care about them. \r\n\r\nThank you again.
