This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school needed some upgraded equipment for the sensory room. In addition, need more fun therapy supplies like liquid floor tiles and a sand and water table to keep upper grades engaged during their Occupational Therapy time.

"I plan to create a more inviting sensory room with equipment that will meet the students' vestibular, proprioceptive, and tactile needs.

The goal of this project is to help our students become more regulated to better participate in classroom instruction.

The games and art supplies for increasing fine motor and visual motor skills will allow for more student-specific and creative therapy sessions to help address the student's goals.
