Sensory Regulation for SPED

My Project

I am requesting items that will go in my school's sensory room where we help students calm down or regulate emotions in a variety of ways. My students have a wide variety of sensory needs and ways that they want to calm down. The putty is a tool many of my kids like and since they are pulling out fun objects they are engaged and enjoy this activity which helps slow down and redirect their minds. The light bulbs are ones that help some of the students I have this year be able to get the light input they are often seeking. The sensory mats are also really great in being able to get tactile input students are seeking.
