My Project

I have included a variety of items in my DonorChoose project. Primarily I hope to help my students who struggle with their sensory processing. This often requires fidgets, calm corner tools, and alternative seating. Additionally, I picked out items for my class store. Students earn "Barnum Bucks" that they can spend at my store once a week.

In my class I have a need to maintain my popular class store, meet sensory needs and maintain organizational/cleanliness supplies.

I have chosen items that meet these needs. Also, I added some academic items to keep my educational materials top notch.

My students are primarily low-income, 50% English Language Learners and all have disabilities. This combination requires extra effort on my student's part, as well as additional help from me, as their teacher.
