Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Welcoming students into a classroom that I hope will become their happy place is very important to me. I have the pleasure of working with amazing preschool autism scholars and would like to start the year off right with much needed back school supplies.
They need sensory items, like sensory rings, fidget slugs, fidget octopus, and tactile liquid letters, to take breaks and focus on the activity that we are working on.
When they have a sensory item they can destress and reconnect with the classroom environment. My students are special needs and would benefit from a sensory item throughout the day.
