It has been a great help in class for students to touch and point at icons when communicating with the teacher and staff. An iPad can also be used for our online curriculum. \r\nThis technology has already made an incredible impact on our students who are nonverbal or have limited speech. While many people are familiar with using tablets at home, in a school setting the iPad becomes so much more than entertainment — it becomes a communication tool, a voice, and a pathway for connection.
