Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In kindergarten we love to explore different materials. Sensory tubs are a great way to help students learn through exploration. This exploration helps to develop a love for learning at a young age. Sensory tubs are filled with amazing learning opportunities to help students develop their skills in cooperation, team work, emotional regulation, and academic skills.

These materials will allow me to continue to create sensory exploration opportunities for my students.

By using sensory tubs my students will be able to work on and develop their fine motor and academic skills in a fun hands on way. Fine motor skills are so important to help students become successful. Strong fingers and hands are the basis of handwriting, coloring, cutting, gluing and all other skills that are imperative to their academic success.
