This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Getting your hands dirty is what its all about! What does it feel like? Whatever "it" is, it should be explored to the max in PreK. Our classroom is small and our old sensory bin is too large for the space, so we keep it outside in the playground. It's great outside full of either water or kinetic sand. However, we have wonderful sensory bin materials we use inside that are expensive and are not disposable.

We need small sensory bins we can fill with beads, rocks, pompoms, colored rice and other things to explore inside.

These smaller bins are perfect! A friend has them in her room and I've seen how effective and versatile they are.

I've included a mat to use under the bins for messy materials and some cornstarch for oobleck fun!
