Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, we were able to begin utilizing Calm Down Corners in each classroom, allowing students to safely explore the emotions they are experiencing and identify appropriate and healthy ways to regulate themselves.

The supplies requested would give students who are experiencing high levels of stress, or overstimulation, the outlets needed to explore their emotions and self-regulate.

With the emphasis on mental health and emotion exploration, our students are supported in so many ways. We appreciate your consideration in helping fund this campaign and further support of the mental health of our 280 students!
