Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love kinetic sand! They never tire of it and ask for it every day. I wanted to add to the experience by adding music. With the hot summer approaching, I am devising activities that can be done in the shade outside of the classroom. The children still get fresh air and sunlight without over-exerting themselves.

Kinetic sand and classical music are both soothing and relaxing for the children.

I would use the Ortizan 40W Loud Stereo Portable Speakers to play classical music while the children mold and play with the Lakeshore Mold amd Play Sensory Sand on the Lakeshore Sensory Discovery Tray. There will be room for all the children to enjoy it together or they can use the time to sit and listen to the music as they participate in other activities.

Ms. V. will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 24.
