This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom we do an entire unit on exploring the 5 senses that we have as humans. It is a fun and exciting unit to get students to understand how they learn and discover in our world. They love learning about themselves and this is one way to get them to understand basic science concepts.
Preschoolers love learning by having hands-on materials!
The students will use books, stickers, mirrors, and other materials to learn about how they see, hear, smell, touch and taste. The materials will be put in the science exploration center for the students to explore.
