My Project

The school I teach at serves students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. Most of the students I work with qualify as special education students. I work with a number of students with autism and they often need time and space to calm down and allow their bodies and minds to reset. The area rug will be beneficial for students needing a break. I also serve students that have suffered a great deal of trauma and the tools selected will benefit them as well.

The LED lighting and Sensory Tents will support my students when they experience sensory overload and need to calm down.
