This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In today's diverse and inclusive educational landscape, it is crucial to cater to various learning styles and needs. Sensory items play a significant role in creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment, especially for students with sensory processing differences or those who benefit from hands-on experiences. Stackable stools and yoga balls in the project will provide students with flexible seating that will cater to their needs. A trampoline is beneficial in meeting the sensory needs of targeted students in the classroom. Chewys are a great tool in preventing unwanted sensory biting towards self and others.
In my special education classroom, I am dedicated to providing individualized support to students' learning experiences.
