This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a Title 1 school that serves a variety of students with varying needs. One of the biggest needs I see are sensory needs.

Students need opportunities for planned movement within the classroom seating arrangement.

Students benefit from being able to have a quiet break in a sensory tent or from rocking in a rocking chair. The items ordered will help me to better support the sensory needs of my students in the special education classroom. Thank you for your kind and generous support in funding this project.
