My Project
I have created a list of items to help meet my students sensory needs. I am a special education teacher at a Title I school. We are focused on creating an inclusive environment so special education students can stay in the general education classroom and feel like part of the school community.
This year I want to focus on meeting my students sensory needs with a rocking chair, spinning chair and balance board in the regular education classroom instead of pulling them out into another environment.
The materials will help students get their sensory needs met while participating in learning activities.
