Sensory Materials To Help Stay Focused

Help me give my students wobble chair feet, a bean bag chair, and sensory materials to help maintain focus in school.

My Project

We are looking to add some sensory items to our fully self-contained classroom in order to help students stay focused and engaged in learning so they can get the most out of their time at school. The chair legs and wiggly chair feet will work together to help students get out their excess energy when listening to instruction and doing work at their desks. The slime balls are great texture items that the students can manipulate when they need to refocus or need a fidget while watching a video or presentation. The bean bags help give that sensory input of getting a hug and spending a few minutes in the bean bag can reset and help students focus again. The privacy shields will help students stay focused on their tasks without having to be separated from the rest of the class. And the edge covering will help to keep our room safe for all students. Please help our students. These items can make an ok day into a great day!
