Sensory Materials for Kindergarten Learners

Help me give my students sensory-based learning materials to promote engagement and allow them to thrive in our classroom.

My Project

We are a kindergarten class full of sensory seekers and tactile learners. Providing students with sensory objects, wiggle seats and sensory-based learning materials will help me engage them in our lessons and will allow them to thrive.

We will use the wiggle seats to support our students with staying seated during learning time.

We will use the kinetic sand to fill our sensory bin and provide sensory experiences daily. We will use the tactile numbers and letters during small group instruction to increase engagement. We will use the liquid letters and pop-it numbers for interactive small-group learning. Play-Doh and dot-a-dot markers are some of my students' favorite activities. We will be able to replenish these materials with your support.
