This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Babies and toddlers with visual or hearing impairments need to be trained to use their hands to explore the environment. They should be exposed to a variety of materials, patterns, and textures in order to learn how to use their hands to access the environment.

These textured materials are visually stimulating and will help my students develop visual skills, as well as fine motor skills.

I want my students to be successful, and to be in the best position to learn as they grow. These supplies will help me accomplish this goal.
