Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All of my students are visually impaired. They enjoy singing and dancing. They come to school with a positive attitude. They love engaging and hands-on​ projects. All of these children have been in school since infancy, a child with a visual impairment is in a school setting from the time they are just a few months old, this is beneficial for them because they begin to familiarize themselves with the school environment at an early age in order to be able to orient themselves a little easier when they enter preschool.

My energetic preschoolers enter the classroom ready to learn, they are curious and full of questions!

I love my students because they are always smiling and full of life.

My Project

My students are blind and visually impaired, by exposing them to sensory toys and additional educational equipment they will have a more meaningful playtime experience.

By donating to our project, you can help me provide my kids with sensory boards and a picnic table for social interactions.

With these sensory and tactile toys, they are not only developing self-confidence and becoming emotionally mature, but they are also developing fundamental social and cognitive skills.

All of these educational toys have been chosen with my students in mind and what I believe will have the greatest benefit for them based on their yearly educational goals.
