Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These are tools needed for children who experience a Sensory Processing Disorder. Sensory Processing disorder (SPD) is a condition in which the brain has trouble receiving and responding to information that comes in through the senses. Image not being about to enjoy playing because you are distressed by clothing or socks or even the touch of grass on your feet or hands.

The weighted stuffed animals I need are used to help calm the minds of children with SPD.

This can interfere with play and learning. These items can help children be calmer, listen better, focus and succeed.
