Hi! Thank you so much for looking into helping my students. This is my second year teaching high school and over the course of last year, I learned very quickly that our students, now more than ever, are overwhelmed with school and life challenges. High school is a lot different now-a-days and there's so many more obstacles and challenges that these students face daily.
With the products included in this project, this will help me give my special education students a place where they can cope and escape from the outside world.
The bean bag chairs provide a sense of comfort and familiarity while the lamp, mixed with my current supplies in my room, diminishes the harsh fluorescent lights that often cause headaches. The sensory items such as the putty, fidget bands, and other fidgets all provide the students with an outlet for their anxiety and feelings in a healthy way.
