This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The sensory items such as calming cuddle balls and an ATM bank will be used to promote both socialization skills and fun sensory activities to help my high schoolers work towards their science goals on their IEPs. In our class here at my high school, we currently don't have any sensory items in class and the students are deprived of their sensory needs. Please help us receive some more items that are both fun and engaging for the students to work towards their goals. Both the Science and the Sensory items will allow them to conduct experiments in the class in a new and creative way. Having these materials will allow the class to utilize more stations and rotation-based instruction allowing the kids to both works on their independent skills and their socializing skills here in the classroom.

These items would enrich the classroom and allow the students to have more interesting and engaging rotation-based instruction.

Their IEP goals would tremendously benefit from having these items.
