it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello, these items will help my students, who are 3-5 years old and all have Autism. I want to have an area where my students can relax and take a break from the loud noise of the classroom. The bean bags, Chewies, and stepping stones help calm the body.
My project goal is to help my classroom have an easy space to relax and calm down in with the bean bags and engaging materials.
Any help you can offer will be amazing and greatly appreciated. These items will help my students calm down and relax in the sensory area and break space by stepping away from the primary classroom setting and resetting.
All our students have autism or a different learning disorder. Our students are nonverbal, but that makes them no different than any other student when it comes to wanting to run and play outside or wanting to learn. Our paraprofessionals are taught how to communicate with our students, so they know what they want and need. Our students still need your help with the gift of your donation; each item picked will help our students in different ways. Yet every item will be cherished because it was a gift we received from you.
