My Project

Help me change the classroom climate by providing sensory tubes, sensory mats, and a sensory critter bin. I have also included a sensory book to keep in the library. The last item is sensory foam, which we use, and they love. My students are learning to self-regulate and having sensory input and breaks helps them learn and focus better through the day. I know how important it is for students to have a balance of work and play; however, we forget how important it is for them to understand when they need a break. As educators, we need to see the cues they give us when they are non-verbal and support their needs through various means, and sensory input helps guide my students to having a better day.
