This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My visual for that area is going to be sensory flowers and herbs. A chill spot for both staff, community, and students during their breaks, lunch time, and after school. I want to have different sensory plants for the NHS community to touch, feel, taste, and smell. A lot of students and staff at NHS during the school day take time to enjoy our garden with the vegetables and flowers. This year, I want to expand it to the other side which is vacant. I want to expand it with more plants, shade, tables, etc. I want our new freshman and staff to enjoy the garden as well.
