This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Using sensory toys and bins can significantly aid students in managing their emotions and meeting their sensory needs effectively.

These tools provide a tactile and engaging way for students to regulate their emotions by offering sensory input that can calm or stimulate them based on their individual needs.

For instance, soft textured toys or stress balls can provide comfort and reduce anxiety, while kinetic sand or water beads in sensory bins offer a soothing sensory experience that promotes relaxation and focus.

By incorporating these tools into classroom routines, educators create a supportive environment where students can self-regulate and enhance their emotional well-being, ultimately fostering a more positive and conducive learning atmosphere for everyone involved.
